Hi there. Today I am talking about what is the difference between a foot rub and a reflexology session. Well, first off, when you have a foot massage, it is massaging. It's it's geared to work out the knots in the muscles. It's geared toward to relax the foot, release tension, increase circulation. Feels amazing. And who doesn't like to have their feet rubbed, right? The quickest way to irritate a reflexology therapist though is to call a foot reflexology session a foot rub. Because when we work with the reflexes in the feet, what we're doing is the body is mirrored on the feet, hands, ears, face, and we are using that mirror and the reflexes on that mirror to stimulate specific reflexes connected to other body parts. So, for example, if you go to a massage therapist and your neck is sore, they're probably going to massage your neck and muscles attached to the neck, right? Well, if you go to a reflexology therapist and your neck is sore, if you're getting a foot reflexology session, they're going to work on your big toe and probably underneath your toes because that's where the reflexes for the neck and the neck and shoulders are, right? And so essentially massage works right on the spot to try to get the body to relax. Reflexology stimulates reflexes in order to be able to get the body to respond and release the tension. If you have any questions, let me know below. I'd love to hear from you. Bye for now.
