Welcome to ReflexologyZone.net. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Reflexology Zone Network Inc. (“we,” “us”), the operator of ReflexologyZone.net, governing your use of reflexologyzone.net (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. What ReflexologyZone.net is
ReflexologyZone.net is an informational resource and directory for reflexology. We publish educational content and list practitioners and businesses compiled from public sources. We are not a healthcare provider, a referral service, or a party to any transaction between you and a practitioner.
2. Not medical advice; no endorsement
The Site is provided for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. We do not endorse or guarantee any practitioner, business, product, or content listed on the Site. Where a listing is marked as verified, that means control of that listing was proven, not that we have checked competence, licensing, insurance or safety. Your use of any listing or content, and any decision to engage a practitioner, is at your own risk. See our full Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms.
3. Accounts
If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Memberships, billing and cancellation
4.1 Paid plans. Some features are paid: Business Profile Membership, the Road to Thrive Business Club, featured placement, and advertising placements. The price of each is shown on our pricing page and on the checkout screen before you pay. We do not charge you for anything you have not agreed to on that screen.
4.2 Billing and automatic renewal. Memberships are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically each month until you cancel. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method the then-current fee on each renewal date. Advertising placements are different: they are bought for a fixed term and do not renew automatically.
4.3 Taxes. Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude tax. Where we are required to collect sales tax, GST or HST, it is added at checkout and shown to you before you pay.
4.4 Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. You keep full access to your plan until that date, you are not charged again, and there is no cancellation fee and no minimum term.
4.5 No refunds. Fees already paid are not refundable, including for a partial month, for a period you did not use, and for any period remaining after you cancel. This is why cancelling leaves your access running to the end of the period you have paid for rather than stopping it immediately.
4.6 When we will put a charge right anyway. Clause 4.5 does not apply to our own mistakes. We will refund or credit you where we charged you in error, including a duplicate charge, a charge on the wrong plan, a charge taken after you cancelled, or a charge for an amount other than the one shown to you at checkout. We will also issue any refund required by law. Email us and we will put it right.
4.7 What happens to your listing when a paid plan ends. Your listing stays published. It returns to the free tier, which means the fields reserved for paid plans are hidden from public view again, including your phone number, email address, website, booking link and social media links. Your information is not deleted, and it reappears if you subscribe again.
4.8 Founding pricing. Founding members keep their founding monthly price for as long as their membership runs without interruption. If you cancel, the founding price ends with the membership, and rejoining later is at the price being offered at that time.
4.9 Price changes. We may change our prices. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before a change affects you, and the new price applies from your next renewal after that notice. If you do not want to continue at the new price, you can cancel before that renewal under clause 4.4.
4.10 Failed payments. If a payment fails we will try again and let you know. If it is still unpaid after 14 days, the plan reverts to the free tier as described in clause 4.7. Nothing is deleted and you can restart at any time.
4.11 If we end your plan. We may suspend or end a paid plan if these Terms are broken, in particular the acceptable use section. Where we end a paid plan for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-copy Site content except as expressly permitted.
- Post false, misleading, defamatory, infringing, or harmful content.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site, or attempt to gain unauthorized access.
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with a practitioner or business.
6. Listings and practitioner content
Listings may be created from public sources or submitted by practitioners. We do not guarantee that listing information is accurate or current. If you are a practitioner claiming a listing, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for having the rights to any content you submit. You can request corrections or removal by contacting us.
7. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit (such as a claimed profile or a message), but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use it to operate the Site. You are solely responsible for content you submit and represent that you have the right to submit it.
8. Intellectual property
The Site and its original content, features, and design are owned by Reflexology Zone Network Inc. and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce or redistribute substantial portions of the Site without permission. Third-party names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
9. Third-party links & affiliate links
The Site contains links to third-party sites and links to books and products (see our Affiliate Disclosure). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites or content, and links do not imply our endorsement.
10. Disclaimers of warranties
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REFLEXOLOGY ZONE NETWORK INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE, YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY LISTING OR CONTENT, OR ANY SERVICES PROVIDED BY A PRACTITIONER YOU FOUND THROUGH THE SITE. IN NO EVENT WILL OUR CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE EXCEED THE GREATER OF (i) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (ii) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reflexology Zone Network Inc. from claims and expenses arising out of your use of the Site, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Changes to the Site and Terms
We may modify or discontinue the Site at any time, and we may update these Terms. Material changes are effective when we update the “Effective” date above; your continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Dispute resolution; binding arbitration; class-action waiver
Please read this section carefully — it affects how disputes are resolved.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered under the applicable arbitration rules of Alberta, rather than in court — except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies. You and Reflexology Zone Network Inc. each waive the right to a trial by jury and the right to participate in a class action, class-wide arbitration, or any other representative proceeding. Disputes must be brought in your individual capacity only.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain arbitration agreements or class-action waivers. Where such limits apply, this section applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law, and the remainder of these Terms remains in effect.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
