Effective September 26, 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies ReflexologyZone.net uses, what each one is for, and how to change your mind at any time.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store. It can be read back on a later visit, which is how a site remembers that you are signed in, or recognises that two page views came from the same browser. Some are set by us; others are set by companies whose tools we use.
The categories we use
We use two categories. We do not set advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share your browsing for advertising. Our advertising is served by us, and an ad click is counted on our own server rather than by a third-party ad network in your browser.
- Strictly necessary — these keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and keep the Site secure. They cannot be switched off, because without them the Site does not work. They are set by us and by Stripe when you make a payment.
- Analytics — these tell us which pages are used, which links are clicked, and where people get stuck. They are optional, and nothing in this category loads until you choose to allow it.
Who sets them, and for how long
- ReflexologyZone (necessary) — your sign-in session and saved preferences. Session and persistent.
- Stripe (payment) — we load no Stripe code on this Site. When you buy something you are taken to Stripe's own checkout page, and any cookie Stripe sets for fraud prevention and payment processing is set there, on Stripe's domain, under Stripe's own policy. Your card details never reach our servers.
- Google Analytics (analytics) — how visitors arrive and move through the Site. Typically up to 2 years.
- Microsoft Clarity (analytics) — heatmaps and session recordings showing where people click, scroll and get stuck. Text you type into forms is masked and is not captured. Typically up to 1 year.
- PostHog (analytics) — which features are used and where a task is abandoned. Typically up to 1 year. Also records the words you type into the search boxes, so we can see what visitors looked for and did not find.
Retention periods are set by those providers and can change; the figures above are their published defaults at the date on this page.
Two tools that set no cookies at all
We also use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count page views and measure loading speed. Neither sets a cookie, stores anything in your browser, or assigns you a persistent identifier — visitors are counted using a temporary hash that is rotated every 24 hours. Because they cannot recognise you and store nothing on your device, they are not covered by the consent choice above and run for everyone. We would rather say that openly than quietly include them in a category they do not belong to.
Changing your mind
Choose Cookie Settings in the footer of any page to review or change your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the Site working, such as staying signed in.
We also honour the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or an extension sends it, analytics stays off and we will not ask you again.
One honest limitation: withdrawing consent stops these tools loading from that point onward. It cannot un-run a script that already ran earlier in your visit. To remove data already collected, contact us.
