[Music] reflexologists specify there are 10 energy zones that run the length of the body from the head to the toe and extending out to the tips of the fingers five zones on the right side and five zones on the left side the little toe corresponds to the fifth Zone and the big toe corresponds to the first Zone each zone is considered a channel for the energy to flow through the body so stimulating or working any Zone in the foot affects the entire Zone throughout the body and ultimately allowing the nervous system to calm down and function more normally with the same understanding the soles of the feet are a mirror of the body a mini map of each organ gland and part of the body the points are laid out just as they are in your body the right foot corresponds to the right side of the body and the left foot corresponds with the left side of the body the foot is also divided on a horizontal plane into five areas the major division guidelines of the feet and the corresponding sections of the body are the neck shoulder line the diaphragm line the waist line the pelvic line the head and neck area area are represented in the toes the chest lungs and shoulders are represented in the balls of the foot the diaphragm to waist area or the upper abdominal organs are represented in the upper part of the arch also located in this section is the reflex point for the solar plexus the solar plexus is a network of nerves that lies just under the diaphragm it is the second most important reflex next to the spinal reflex the waist to pelvic area or the lower abdominal organs are represented in the lower part of the arch the pelvic area and the sciatic nerves are represented in the heel the spine is represented in the inner side of the foot and is considered the most important Reflex on the foot the arm shoulder hip leg knee and lower back are represented on the outer edge of the foot the pelvic and reproductive organs are represented in the heel and Ankle area
