I'm Kinda. It's great to meet you. >> This video will cover some of the most frequently asked questions I get, including how long is the course? >> One-year course. >> Can I take the training online? >> I actually taught the course 31 times live. The problem is a lot of people they don't have a lot of time. Everything is like trying to pack things in, pack things there. And after COVID, I noticed that a lot of people were really kind of wanting to do things online. They didn't want to travel. They didn't want to just fit it into the schedule here and then have a deadline here to meet because it would just all get overwhelmed and it just wasn't working anymore. So, what I did is I actually made the course. I changed the training so that you can still complete it in a year or less. you have all the resources, all the check-ins, all the live review without actually needing to travel. >> There are um things that you have to hit. You still have to do the written exam. >> I actually send you a physical exam to write. You still have to do the mandatory review. I watch you do a full session to make sure that you're doing the method correct. You still have to do the 50k session. You'll have to do 50 sessions working on five people 10 times or 10 people five times. You still have to do the final exam live. I do have practical examiners that I work with right across Canada. >> Somewhere close to you in order to do the final exam. And then you're set. >> When can you start charging for reflexology sessions? Once you get through your written exam, like once you do your written exam, you can start doing reflexology sessions. So, for example, if you're charging $100 for an uh reflexology session, which is usually an hour, while you're going through training, you can charge $50 for the session. And I teach you how to promote the packages inside the course. For your case studies, in the training, you would work on people in your own community. Your clientele is anyone with aches and pains. You will work on 10 people five times or you will work on five people 10 times. I recommend working on 10 people five times because once they get used to doing the reflexology then what happens is they want to continue. >> Is reflexology covered by group plans >> course is recognized by both the reflexology association. It's also recognized by um NHPC which are across Canada associations plus a lot of the individual associations. So what happens is when you write a receipt if somebody has reflexology in their benefits plan or a health spending account they can get reimburse for their sessions. What does a student portal look like? You >> go right to the website. you would get access to the core reflexology certification and the practical foot. So you've got two of the courses is what you would get and there's physical manuals that go with it. So you get a physical manual, a physical workbook for core and a physical manual and a physical workbook for um the foot portion of it. So in here, this is the student portal and this is what you would get access to. Um there's a live training every month that you can join. If you have any questions, then you can ask questions or get feedback if there's anything. Um they're usually around the 15th of the month. They're not mandatory, but they are optional if you feel that you need it. We've also got a Facebook group. So the Facebook group um is everyone that I have there's 186 in here and that's not all of them. I just certified some and so in here they come they ask questions >> um we celebrate in here every step of the way. So, um, you can choose to go with the reflexology association of Canada, but if you have more modalities that you work with, sometimes NHPC is better. And so, you can go with NHPC because they cover so many modalities and then you're recognized right across Canada. So, that's what these certificates are. National Natural Health Practitioners of Canada. There's a lot of massage therapists, Reiki, Access Bars. There might even be the nutritionists with these guys. Like they they cover a lot. So, you have to have this certificate plus the transcript that I give. You have to be able to submit those two things to the association in order to be able to get the credentials. Some of them decide to go just with the reflexology association at Canada, but if you do that, you're only covered with reflexology. If you go with NHPC, they have more modalities that they cover under the one association. That's what I'm trying to say. With NHPC, they cover uh reflexology. with Alberta Blue Cross, Blendable, Canada Life, Chamber of Commerce. It and it all depends on the member's plan too, right? We we celebrate every step of the way. Like we celebrate when you register, we celebrate when you pass the written exam. We celebrate when you pass your um final exam, when you get in like the history and theory v video, which goes part and parcel with the manual, right? So, every manual has its own training thing. So, you watch the video, I give you worksheets. I explain like what what is reflexology. It's got the breakdown of of the description in here. And then you've got um you've got different worksheets that you can print off like there's a word search with there's quizzes, all that kind of stuff. You don't have to submit the quizzes. They're just for your study. There's a practice exam that you can do and correct and so that you know that you're going to be ready for the real exam. When it comes to the practical side, there's videos for absolutely everything. You can see like I will work the neck and shoulder ridge. So we don't have we only have to go up to there. And this is the diaphragm reflex. We've worked the shoulder and we've worked the bronchial. So, the thing that we haven't worked is this little square in zones two to zones three. >> So, it it shows you there how to do it, but then I also break it down into each individual thing. These ones don't have sound so that if you need to if you need to do it while you're with a client, you can >> you can >> So, each single thing is broken down for you. See, you can see what I'm doing right there. The tuition, it inco It covers everything. It inco It covers me shipping your manuals to you. It includes the sequence sheet. It includes a chart. It includes your exams. It includes um your mandatory review. It includes your final exam. It includes whoever I have to hunt down in order to do your practical exam if you don't want to come to Regina. It includes your transcripts. It includes absolutely everything. But there's there's checks and balances cuz I need to make sure that you're doing it correctly. So there's checks and balances in place and so that I know that you're doing everything right and that you'll pass and you'll succeed.
