I want to teach you five basic techniques for ear reflexology so the first one that I'd like to teach you is super simple but it's just stroking so it's almost like you have the world's tiniest little violin but seriously it's just really just like using a one finger against the other so you have at your pointer finger behind the ear or your thumb on top and you're just stroking like that and then the next technique will be just circling so you're still are working that way you could actually put your thumbs under if you want use your fingers or turn the other way it's up to you but just circles and then the next one's going to be pressing so just stimulating all those reflex points on the ears the next one after that will be pressing with traction and then we also have shaking so shaking is one of them as well so I'll go ahead and show you those right now okay so let's go ahead and start with stroking so we're gonna press in my finger tip of my pointer fingers behind the ear my thumb is on top and I'm starting right up at the top of the helix body so I'm gonna press in and then just slide and I'm gonna start out more lateral and then the next press will be a little more medial and then a third press will be the most medial the most you know but we're not actually going to press into the inner Oracle would be a very bad idea so then one more press one more pass just to the stroking the next one that we're going to do is circling so we're going to press in and just circle starting up at the top of the ear that helix body circling three times in each spot holding the air on one side with my pointer finger and then working with my thumbs and then down to the low three times and I'll come to the top for that second pass circling and coming back up to top of that third pass okay and then we're gonna go ahead and start up at the helix body again and we're just gonna press in and release so pressing in pausing and releasing starting out more lateral and then we'll do three passes on the ear with this working our way superior to inferior on the ear from that helix body to the lobe and on our second pass pressing in pausing and releasing just stimulating all those reflexes that correspond with all the different parts of the body and our third pass pressing in and then pausing and releasing and this time we're gonna start out again up at the top of the helix that we're gonna press in and traction out pause and release working lateral at first and then moving in with each pass pressing tractioning and so they're releasing working down to the love and as I work on him he's going to feel heat in his ears and feel like his body his whole body is starting to get kind of increasing in heat a little bit hotter second pass and that third pass more menial but still staying outside that inner Oracle so we're not going to press into the where the eardrum is or where our auditory ossicles are okay and then this last one I'm actually going to support behind the ear with my thumb and I'm just gonna kind of it's almost like like almost like a little topping that I'm gonna do and it's the shaking one two three and I can switch to my thumb right here um and I'm moving my media one two three one two three and then the last press okay so the last thing I want to teach you is a acupressure technique for improving your hearing and also for preventing hearing loss and so all we're gonna do you could also do this on yourself if you want to but you just basically close off the tragus right there with your pointer finger and this little part of your ear right here and close it off and then we're going to tap with our middle finger just gently thirty times and you could do this um one two three rounds of those thirty taps so I'll go ahead and do that on Andrew then close out the tragus and then tap with my middle finger thirty times and then release and we can repeat that three times do it one more time and release okay thank you
