From ancient times till today, reflexology has been a very important way to keep the body healthy in a natural way, this history is very old, it goes back to ancient Egypt . The wall paintings of the tomb of Ankhmahor which are from 2330 BC. In these wall paintings also we can clearly see that reflexology is being done by pressing the points of the hands and feet. The Ebers Papyrus of ancient Egypt, which is a medical document, it is from 1550 BC. Reflexology is also mentioned in this article. It is replete in the history of China. Chinese people follow Traditional Chinese Medicine. In this, they believe in the concept of Chi. Chi means life force which is present in the meridians of our body. These meridians also pass through the soles of our feet and by pressing them, many diseases can be treated. There is a basic book of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China named Nei Jing. It is from 200 BC. The book also talks about reflexology to balance the energy of the body . Its importance has also been found in the history of India. Our oldest book of Ayurveda is Charak Samhita. According to zone Therapy, our entire body is divided into longitude lines. According to these lines, if we press on a specific point, we get relief in pain. Dr. William's work Eunice Ingham, who was a physiotherapist, took it further. In 1930, she designed a detailed reflex point of the organs and different parts of our body, in the sole of our feet and in the palm of our hands, which we use till today and the most interesting one. You must have seen in Hindu culture that people worship the soles of gods feet in their homes, in temples. Perhaps our ancestors wanted to give this message behind this .
