hello everyone.this so it is time for another reading video for those of you that have been following the channel my name is sim and I am happy to bring you these book reading videos just as a reminder if you would like you're featured in some of these videos you can always send them to me at sam at Foot whisper come and check out eight links below to find ways to interact with me and the channel and the Facebook group and all that jazz so we are live so for those of you that are just about to join me feel free to use the comments section I'll be looking over here at my other screen to answer your questions as we see them as well as listen to your always hilarious comments when I start to get really nerdy and talk about the beat so let me share my screen real quick we'll pull up the presentation and we'll get started to do screen share back again okay Boop f5 already so here is the foot reading so today is the 10th hence the date um but these feet have a lot of really interesting things that we get to discuss that I always try to pick things that are not always on the other videos and I think that this hair has some really cool things to talk about so as everybody starts to log on and jump on say hi introduce yourselves if you're watching the replay of this let me know where you're at in the comments below and we will proceed with the foot reading so let me give you an outline as far as what you're expecting what we're about to do okay so these foot readings are largely taking place as challenges within the foot reading and reflexology online community group on Facebook also known as for Rock the front group is reflexologist and book readers and people who are in the body work foot industry from all over the world it's absolutely fascinating I think we're just over 850 members in the group now just quite the community and so I post these pictures these exact pictures there before I do the video here everybody jumps on they talk about what they see and then I kind of give you my two cents and we have this beautiful dialogue about it so you're learning but reading not just me you know tongue in your ear off throughout these videos so we're gonna talk about number one what I see so the top three markers up Christopher says hey hey Christopher we're gonna talk about the top three markers that I see in this video it's going to be a very interesting top three because we're going to be able to confirm the top three multiple times throughout the video so it's gonna be really cool then I'm going to talk about what I would say and what I would not say in this video again it's not so much what we would not say but the top three markers that I've chosen how we validate and keep bumping into these same markers over and over and over again which give us the kind of theme of the foot reading and it's a great way for new foot readers to kind of say hey is this a marker is this not a marker yes this is a marker because I'm seeing multiple validating or prescribe you something okay and then what you do about it we always want to pair our assessments with methods of balancing so we're going to take the three markers that we find we're going to decode those look at those in multiple angles in this video and then we're going to kind of give the client what their takeaway is give them lifestyle changes to make give them a broader idea as far as what their feet are trying to tell them about their current body state and that is what really brings foot reading first full circle in terms of giving them something that they can feel empowered by as opposed to just saying you're broken no hope for you the feet will never change they will change they will always change if you give the body what it needs and what it's asking for which is what book reading detects so that's that okay so context in the story couple themes that we're going to see throughout here the Constitution so constitutional themes I in my book foot reading I talk about the four elements so we're using earth air fire water that is the elemental paradigm that we are going to be referencing so are you a water constitution meaning your body is very fluid filled are you an earth Constitution meaning your body is very rigid and dense are you an air Constitution meaning is your body light as it prone to fatigue is it paper mobile or do you have a fire Constitution is that athletic muscular and prone to pain and spasm so we're going to talk about the contextual constitutional themes of these feet because it is very relevant to the markers I and something that I really wanted to drive home before we get into the feet is this idea of like everybody says oh it's just the tip of the iceberg because icebergs the natural phenomenon have a majority of their weight and mass below the surface and so we're going to really be talking about the iceberg below the surface themes and how certain symptoms appear as tips of the iceberg like if this pair of feet were coming in they would be coming in with this minor issue but the major issues contributing to the minor issue are X Y Z so that's making it sound like a huge math equation and it's not you'll you'll get what I mean just stick around okay so and then we always want to focus on actionable steps that is that is really to make sure that the client understands the information and what they can do about it okay so let's get into the feud because this is this is really where we get to go nuts and crazy and and talk about just how amazing the body is until the body really is telling you at any given moment what is happening okay so marker number one redness and inflammation I know that some of you picked up on that right away in terms of degrees of redness and inflammation it's not as strong as other peak that I've seen we can you can see some redness around the big toe area but we're looking for contrast and it just so happens that these feet have a lot of red contrast letting us know that there is an underlying theme of inflammation or what we would call a fire Constitution or a fire marker letting us know that there's heat that there's overactivity that there's a always going to be that kind of fiery tint to this person's not only physical dynamic but also their internal dynamic this redness and inflammation also means that this person tends to be rather excitable they may have trouble moderating their voice they people might always be telling them to just because they're they're very dynamic individuals they have a lot of heat and that needs to be vented that they often are the center of attention for that purpose so redness and inflammation physically is what marker number one is and like I said before we're really going to be validating that marker in multiple ways throughout the house to grab so marker number two vascularity there's no real way to circle this because it's kind of everywhere so you can see on the plantar surface of the feet the waves that are forming and then on the dorsal aspect and especially around the ankles you can see those veins starting to get more and more superficial when markers are activated by heat specifically when the cardiovascular system is affected by heat the vessels will rise to the surface and become superficial uh because he rises and steam rises so this building kind of firewalker dynamic gives us an idea that the inflammation is pushing the vessels outward and the pressure is building within the system these water markers indicate hypersensitivity they indicate slight fluid retention because if the body is too hot then it's going to need to hold on to excess fluid to counterbalance that kind of fiery inflammation dynamic but also when the water and fire meet and steam is created pressure happens in the joints and so we're really going to be seeing more of that throughout this video we have for the first marker being heat that redness and then the fluid markers being at water pressure that's building because of the heat and the salt is what would be our tip of the iceberg which is neck rigidity so some of you especially in the group pick this out right away whenever we see this Callison around the base of the big toe the big toe represents the headspace and we've seen this in other other videos as well this callosum formation around the outside really represents that face at the head that occiput area so when that starts to get really tough and rigid it means that the body is tight and rigid and tough there so this inflammation this inflammatory State this fiery Constitution also is messing with the water in the body creating excess pressure and basically kind of heating up the pipes is the best way to say it which is causing some pipes to burst and so the body has started to calcify or become rigid around a very sensitive area being the back of the neck as you know the brain and the spinal cord very very sensitive structures as the body tries to protect that space from like the lid blowing off of it we also think of that analogy of heat rising because of the inflammatory state of these feet and because of the fluid pressure it's like if you've left water boiling on the stove too long and it's been covered that top of the the the pot starts to dance and Rumble and shake and so the body has kind of clamped down the top of the pot in order to keep that from messing with the central nervous system so what I would normally see with these type of feet and I've seen this type of feet so many times at the Institute this client comes in with neck issues headaches or migraines okay very much in line with the webinar that I'm going to be doing tomorrow on head and neck stuff in reflexology and foot reading this client would be coming in saying I have these headaches or I have a history of migraines or the back of my neck is always stiff or you know I just can't seem to get this neck pain out but what we're seeing from the feet is the overall constitutional being totally Trump's this little bit of callus there's way too much inflammation and fluid pressure causing the neck to become rigid as opposed to the rigid neck being the one and only marker that we see and would focus on okay so now let's validate this so here's another view of the feet I know it's a little bit of a blurry picture but bear with me because we can still see a lot of stuff here so marker number one and two we have irritability and fluid so marker number one is heat - marker number two is vascularity when that water and fire start to mix in you get this you get the waving you get the ups and downs you get the steam fluid pressure and that is very present around the digestive reflexes so in addition to that inflammatory and fluid pressure state this person might have a lot of gas bloating and irritability in the digestive reflexes as well as in the sciatic nerve lower body space so how we got to that point is horizontal zone three and four or the proximal and distal arch when we see waving there it represents kind of that Evan flow that up and down that irritability in the digestive tract but then and also when the heel is involved we can see those waves really getting deep into the heel space that irritability is also going to be present within the sciatic nerve and lower body reflexes that are present within the heel so that heat that fire and water dynamic and that steam pressure dynamic are really wreaking havoc on the internal organs as well then we have marker number three neck issues so not only is the the neck like tight and locked down but also what we're gonna see here is that there's like deviations of the toes happening and the best view of that is going to be the second toe on the right foot you can see it in the other ones and we'll definitely get a much better shot on the dorsal aspect because it's always important to view all aspects of the feet not just the plantar surface or the medial surface which is what we just saw but here we can really see the toes starting to fall out alignment and that is not a good thing for the next base it means that in addition to being stiff it's also the bones aren't stacking properly which can definitely be a reaffirming marker for headaches but back to that constitutional beam like the iceberg model the bigger issue here is the inflammation and fluid imbalance but the neck is really where the source of the issue is so the headspace is getting knocked off its rocker because of the underlying constitutional imbalances that are literally wreaking havoc on that body okay so now let's look at the dorsal surface and mirror that exact scenario oh and you can see it on the second toe a little bit as well okay dorsal aspect bump a bum everybody should be able to immediately pick out what we saw on the other two surfaces as well so marker number one pop tendons we've talked about this in other videos as well whenever the tendons on the dorsal surface are popped that is a really easy spot for a type of her back but also too much heat in the system again he makes things rise he thinks things dynamic in the body so when we see the tendons of the toes popped like this you can see them raised it means that there are underlying inflammatory patterns and so that reaffirms our fire marker from the beginning and this would also be contributing just from a from kind of organizational chart methodology to the neck issues because this area in addition to being you know that pop tendon fire marker also represents direct tension in the upper back so when you see these tendons since the the toes represent the head and neck that ball of the foot represents the chest and shoulder area the plantar surface of which the bottom surface of which would be like fronted the chest and then the dorsal surface of which would be like the upper back shoulder blades so there's a lot of tension happening in the shoulder blades which could also be pulling on the neck as well marker number two vascularity there's a lot we can see it pretty much all over except it's very concentrated on the right side here I wouldn't go into right and left in this video because it is so widespread I wouldn't want to be too specific but if you wanted to you could really drill down and say that in the past they've been more high sensitive uh but you know we we won't go there because this is really these feet are talking to me about overarching themes not specific issues yes we could talk about the individual shape of the toes yes we could talk about difference from left to right but really I want to drive home for this particular client that they have a bigger picture issue happening in regards to the inflammation and fluid balance which is causing the neck issues as opposed to getting down into the minutia or the nitty-gritty of these smaller details okay marker number three rigid neck with misalignment yes it's also present on the right side but it is definitely present on the left side we can see that and this is another reason why it's important to take multiple views of the pita not just rely on ventral or dorsal surface because on the plantar surface it is very present on the right side but on the dorsal surface it's very present on the left side which could be read into as well but that is advanced content which I'll leave for the certification course online this marker whenever we see the deviation of the bones of the toes really tells us that the neck bones are not stacking properly but here's a fun little Anatomy analogy the body is very much like any type of house or built structure it needs a steady foundation and we found that the inflammation ends the fluid pressure and that steam irritability that is created by that is rocking the foundation of this body both in the sciatic in the digestive course base so within unstable foundation no wonder the head and neck can't rest properly no wonder it feels the need to clamp down at the top it's kind of like somebody who has leaks in the roof but the leaks and the roof are due to the roof cracking open because the house is tilted right and so they're trying to like staple and shingle the roof back together but they don't realize that they're just hardening Rufe when the foundation is the issue I was actually a really good analogy I hope somebody wrote that down because that's that's really good oh wait it's recording yeah Internet okay so those are our three different angles of these feet as well as three markers throughout that we've been able to validate now let's talk about wrapping it all up okay physically heat and inflammation or making the body hypersensitive so there's definitely a pain spasm component throughout the body due to these fluctuations the neck is specifically blocking down so whenever we see general constitutional themes like widespread inflammation and fluid pressure like I said there might be digestive stuff there might be sciatic knee stuff but definitely in the head spaces where we're seeing the tightest and most locked-down area of the body due to that overall fluid and a heat imbalance but you know we could zoom in and zoom out just as easily okay internally the overactive and heightened emotional state is causing the minds to become locked down so we always want to give both the physical and also the internal aspect of what's happening there are a lot of physical markers in this reading so I wanted to keep it mostly physical but we also want to give the client the option of hey you know there isn't a deeper meaning to this state that physical inflammation that physical heat means internally this person is a little bit agitated a little bit angry a little bit overexcited and that is really messing with their emotional state which seems to be highly pressured and it's causing their mind to maybe get into lockdown mode really start to want to become overly rigid overly focused on things like order control hyper scheduling um which we'll definitely talk about the methods of balancing because you know that is a great way to balance a hyperactive Constitution um but internally we always want to let them know that it's not just the physical body that has markers and significance in the beat it's also the internal state of the individual okay now let's talk about methods of balancing the way we calm down irritability in this case steam caused by heat and fluid is through consistent nourishing action or earth again back to that four element theory earth is about density about predictability about nourishment about sustainability I we're seeing an infection of earth in the head meaning that there's too much rigidity but overall this person definitely needs to ground and we'll talk about that more in depth over the next couple sentences but this person they need to integrate a predictable schedule or predictable aspects regular meals and nourishing foods in place of quick inflammatory foods inflammatory foods and quick foods are the bane of this person's existence because not only are they too dry and they will irritate the bowel but they won't provide steady nourishment throughout the day because the meals are small like you can't carry a full meal with you all the time when you're a go go go so this person is probably skipping meals because of that irritability but if they were to sit down and actually have a dense nourishing predictable meal for breakfast lunch and dinner their body would calm down greatly emphasis on the moist though because as I say in the next sentence even though there are no markers for dehydration we want to focus on the food but the food also has to be calming soothing and nourishing it can't irritate or aggravate an already irritated and aggravated system so we'd really want to be focusing on things that are not carb heavy or carb loaded like staying away from the pastas the breads but also staying away from just like getting a huge state without any vegetables um if meat isn't just Edyta be partially broken down for this body meaning it should be in the form of a soup or a stew or a roast where the meat is literally like falling off the bone and mounts in the mouth tender it that's going to be super easy on the stomach and it's going to be partially broken down so the body doesn't have to waste its energy reserves in that kind of building up a system so once the regularity is present we can move on to unwinding any head and neck tension through body work for the physical aspect and meditation to reorient the Mayans because the body craves consistency in the state mealtimes are a great way to integrate that consistency and also nourish a body that is spending way too much energy so with this person they're probably running around like a chicken with their head cut off and they need to slow down especially around Meal Time once they get those meals and that planning and that regularity under control then we can start to address any secondary symptoms because in this case the tip of the iceberg is the head and neck that is the area that is manifesting the top symptom probably the symptom that they're coming in for but the least relevant system to symptom to the overall state of this person's dynamic and that's really where we want to focus methods of balancing is the overall state versus the individual symptom once they start to get that reliability down in the lot I can expect its fuel sources regularly then we can start addressing the head and neck reflexes through focused specific bodywork and internally the mental emotional meaning of that lockdown rigid toe area being the mind that has become inflexible so that is the physical internal and methods of balancing associated with these feet I hope that you all have enjoyed it that is it for our foot reading challenge make sure to subscribe if you haven't already and join the Facebook group if you're really interested in foot reading because that's where the conversation is taking place and then I do webinars and specific videos on the channel here that all starts in the group based off of your suggestions their mom by the book if you haven't already if a lot of these terms confuse to you and I encourage you to buy my book on foot reading it's called reading a reflexology primer on that's men by yay but also check out the works of Sue Rick's or stormer embraced emoji James Shihan the doodoo [Music] man I just totally blanked on the association of reflexologist so over in the UK they have a book that was collaboratively written by a lot of their reflexologist you know start doing your research and then really start to get a hold on what foot reading is for you because it's one thing to have somebody read your feet for you but it's another thing to learn the invaluable skill also tomorrow I will be doing a webinar here live on the YouTube channel called head and neck reflexology and foot reading and it will be Sunday at 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time that's Florida a New York time I so I know that some of you are international and that does not really make sense for your schedule so the recording will be available through the Facebook group so I'll post a link in the Facebook group that you can get a free copy at the replay and for those who aren't as smart they'll just pay 10 bucks for the replay but you can also watch it lucky so stay tuned lots of fun stuff happening all throughout the Internet's in regards to foot reading I hope that you enjoyed this video and keep up the good work I'll just really quick give you my SmugMug real quick before we wrap up again my name is Sam I hope that you all enjoyed this foot reading video stay tuned to the channel because lots more of these videos will be posted over the next months and make sure if you would like your feet read I'm available for private consultations if you're local to me in Tampa Florida but if you're not then you can always write me in and we can chat about what your feet have to say about you so that can all be found at philospher comm and I will let you all go and have a fantastic rest of your day [Music]
