hello everybody it's David weight from jubilee college again and thank you so much for coming back and watching us we've had more requests so here's another video and this time it's for hormone imbalance quite a few ladies have said that they've been enjoying regular reflexology treatments which have now had to unfortunately come to an end because of lockdown and so the wondering if there's anything they can do on their hands and the answer is absolutely yes so today we're going to do hormone balance I've also had some people asking me about depression and by putting a brain reflex onto a hormone balance technique it actually works for a perfect treatment for depression too because depression is a hormone imbalance within the brain we have chemicals in our brain principally serotonin and so helping to balance that can really really help with depression so I hope you like what we're going to do and so without any more ado we shall get on with some gorgeous hand reflexology so for doing a hormone balance what we're going to do is a follow-me type of video rather than me showing you loads and loads of reflexes so the first thing that we're going to do is to work our anil gland and this is found on the corner of the thumb so by doing this kind of rocking motion with our thumbs at 90 degrees we're working on up annealed land on our thumbs just here now this can also be really useful if you're the kind of person that wakes up in the middle of the night and then you can't get back to sleep do this technique and it will help you get back to sleep nicely yeah the next reflux that we're going to do is going to be up at Shira tree this is the master gland of our hormonal system so the pituitary is found in the center of the swells on the thumb and so what we're going to do with this is we're going to just press the other thumb in and rotate on it we're never going to do exactly the same for the other one so turn the thumb over find the center of the swell and a nice rotation the next reflux that we're going to do is the thyroid reflux this is particularly useful in helping with hot flushes anything like that at all because the thyroid which is located between this line just here on our thumb and the base of the thumb where it joins the hands so all of this area here is the thyroid reflux the thyroid in Chinese traditional medicine is known as the third ovary so we're going to work all the way around doing a thumb walk if you find an area of tenderness just stop on it and rotate they don't have to hold your hand like I'm holding it here I'm holding it like this so that it's nice and easy to see for the camera but if it's more comfortable for you then by all means have your hand flat any way you like so that you can get access to this area comfortably okay so swap hands we're going to do our right hand now like I say if it's easier for you then by all means have your hand the other way you could even have it this way and work it with your finger if you would prefer to there are no rules no hard and fast rules with reflexology they can't see what I'm doing now because my index finger is and underneath my thumb but this might be much more comfortable for you to do it this way rather than having it palm up and working now this reflex is also the parathyroid reflex is the parathyroid glands lie behind the thyroid so you're working those at the same time plenty of work here the next one that we're going to do is the adrenal reflex we locate the adrenal by following this line here this line here and where the two intersect that is where your adrenal gland is located because it's a spot one point we're just going to rotate on this area nice circles calming and relaxing [Music] we'll do the same with the other hand are intersecting lines just here the next endocrine gland to work is going to be the pancreas and the pancreas runs from the line in zone four finger four and in line with the thumb so from here to here it's only found on the left hand side of the body so it only needs to work it on the left hand and what I'm doing with this is circles move forward a bit circles move forward a bit circles do it again they may be wondering what net the pancreas has got to do with hot flushes and mood swings and things like that being as the pancreas has to do with insulin and with digestion but it is still an endocrine gland and the endocrine glands are like dominoes if you stack a load of dominoes up on their ends and then you flip one the rest of them get knocked down and that's just like our endocrine system if one goes wrong it knocks the next one out of kilter and the next one and the next one so we want all of our endocrine glands to be harmonious and balanced so all supporting each other rather than knocking each other out of kilter our final endocrine gland is the ovary reflex every reflex will be found on the side of the hand there's a little dip right in the joint of the rest place your index finger just there place your thumb in the opposite dip this is the uterus reflex and we're going to do little circles if I take my fingers away be able to see a little white mark where they have been didn't see just there you can see just here that's so that that will hopefully show you bit clearer where these points are so nice circles no rush about this now on the other hand we'll do exactly the same dip on this side dip on this side press in and do circles and if we have any gentleman watching when you're thinking hmm I haven't got a uterus or an ovary that's fine this is the testes reflex and the prostate reflex is just as good for gentleness and gentlemen as it is for ladies now sang in the introduction this routine is also very very good for depression and so what we're going to do we're going to add the brain reflex the brain reflex is found on the end of the thumb and we then have helper reflexes on the ends of our fingers as well so we're going to roll our thumbs over each other they can feel crunchiness there there might have been an awful lot going through your brain at this present time and there probably is so you just keep on doing this roll over roll over thumb on thumb [Music] until you can feel the crunching start to dissipate and now we're going to do the same thing with our index fingers now if you're the kind of person that goes to bed when you think I'm gonna a good sleep tonight and your head hits the pillow and your brain starts thinking about everything and anything to do with the day that's just gone or the day that's to come rolling your thumb reflexes rolling the brain reflex like this will really really help as it will allow your brain to become calm and collected and again it may aid with your sleep so we're doing all of these for all of our fingers these are the fine tuning areas for the brain now it comes to your little finger maybe support the little finger and then roll over it with your index finger it'll be an awful lot easier than trying to roll the tip if your little finger over the tip of the other one now once you've done this if you then want to repeat it you can and you can repeat this as many times as you like following the video again and this will really really help balancing your hormones help with hot flushes help with mood swings and help with depression so I hope you've enjoyed that routine as I said in the routine that you can do this as many times as you like and you can stop on any of the reflex points that are tender that would be the best thing to do and then just rotate and rotate until the soreness has gone away this will really really help balance your hormones help with hot flushes help with mood swing and help with depression so please do like and subscribe to the YouTube channel and I hope that this will help you a lot thank you
