hello everyone this is Sam over at the foot was for reflexology Institute here today with another face reflexology technique for you and we're going to start with our first official walk in the reflexes of the face and we are going to be addressing the forehead first so let me show you with a visual demonstration how we're going to do this okay everybody so let's take a look at the face and get to know our zones really quick on the face to start getting our forehead routine down so the first guideline that we have is the shoulder line guideline giving our medic and face here a gorgeous unibrow and that is the only guideline that we need to know for this technique but just as a reminder from a face reflexology standpoint all the other extremities when we look at the hands the feet the ears they're all right foot left foot right hand left hand with the face we only have one face but we have right side and left side and we're dividing the technique half and half so when I do a session I'm doing the entire right side and then the entire left side so from a technique standpoint we're separating or drawing that imaginary line but from an actual guideline standpoint all we need to know is the shoulder line guideline which takes place at the eyebrows okay so from a technique standpoint we're going to do our first walking in the forehead area forehead is horizontal zone one representing all of the reflexes in the head and neck and we are going to divide the forehead into five vertical zones and walk from the shoulder line guideline to the hairline three times in each row with our thumbs and you'll see that on the video so basically we're going to UM walk one row two rows or columns rather three four and then five important with the fifth the temple is the soft tissue on the outside that represents the shoulder reflex area we don't want to be walking on the tissue of the temple instead we only want to be walking on the bony frontal bone of the forehead yeah okay and each of these columns we're going to walk three times each okay and that is our basic forehead technique really simple really easy great to clear all of the tension out of the forehead but also from a reflex standpoint all of the structures of the head neck and face so let's get to look in at the actual technique video starting at the shoulder line guide line of the eyebrows and thumb walking to the hairline three times in each vertical zone or in vertical zone one now shifting about a thumbs width depending on the size of your thumb of course and the size of the forehead to each consecutive vertical zone and just walking three times to clear that zone really nice easy and simple technique I'm showing you how to use your thumb for this technique some students like to use their index finger I encourage you to play and figure out what hand position works best for you first and foremost this technique is supposed to be sustainable but it also does feel fantastic regardless of your hand orientation you at that last vertical zone five three times again really enjoying the simple technique as we walk the forehead and then we'll learn how to walk around the eyes great job everybody you
