hello everyone this is Sam over at the foot whisperer reflexology Institute here today with another face reflexology technique for you here we're going to be walking the upper digestive reflexes of the face it's a smaller area takes a little bit of intricacy we are going to be addressing the upper lip in this video as well so take note of the guidelines very very important that'll help you understand not only where the reflexes are located but also the routine as far as how and where to walk so without further ado here is a quick drawing before we move to the hands on technique all righty everybody so we are back on the face here with the upper digestive reflexes this time and we're going to start with our mapping just like we did on the previous routines it's important to know where we're walking at any given time so let's start with that and with the upper digestive reflexes we're going to be addressing the upper cheek so the lower half of the zygomatic bone all the way up to the lip line and that is going to be where we're going to apply our walking technique for this video so those are the only two lines that we really need to define that space we're going to use a nice swoop on one side and sue on the other to represent that zygomatic bone that tip that edge which represents the diaphragm guideline and then we are going to take the lip line and we are going to naturally curve it all the way to the other guideline and that represents our upper digestive space so that is the area that we're going to walk from a guideline perspective the guide lines go all the way across but I really want you to stop the technique before vertical zone five before you hit that masseter muscle because we're going to walk that separately at the end of the routine so I'm good okay so what we're going to do is we're going to start if we just walk the upper orbital Ridge we're going to start about a finger width below that right on that Daigo mattock bone and we are going to walk from the side of the nose - what would be vertical zone for or just outside of the eyebrows not hitting that masseter muscle three times okay now with the side of the nose make sure that you're not actually impinging air flow that's a no-no but we do want to hit right outside of that nose then we're going to shift a thumbs width down or fingers width down and we're going to go right to the side of the nose and do that exact same walk in a lateral direction three times then we're actually going to address the upper lip space and we're going to go all the way to that same edge three times okay pretty simple technique but these are the upper digestive reflexes of the face if we wanted to be a little bit more specific with our mapping we could talk about upper digestive on this what would be the clients right side representing all of that liver gallbladder area and then all of the horizontal zone three or upper digestive reflexes on the left side representing that stomach spleen and pancreas which kind of traverses any issues with the upper lip always pancreas first go to so that is how we walk the upper digestive reflexes and let's talk a little bit about technique starting just below where we walked for the eyes on the outside of the nose using your index finger to kind of curl around that cliff edge of the zygomatic bone three times again palpation don't pass that messenger and don't impinge that nostril of the nose we want to be nice to our clients and work within the tissues of the face shifting a fingers width down to just on the outside nostril and continuing with those three horizontal rows three times each we are just over the edge of that zygomatic bone starting to get into the dental tissue so no excess pressure here definitely take your time and make sure that you're not invading the mouth space from the outside in moving to the upper lip we're starting in between the lip and the nostril of invading either of those spaces and continuing our walk you can see I slowed down here to really take it easy and make sure that I'm not invading the dental tissue underneath but instead I'm palpating just the surface layer of those reflexes continuing with our second pass and then our third and that is how you walk the upper digestive reflexes of the face great job everybody you
